product description
Rosehips with Seed (Rosa canina)
Rose hips are the non-toxic fruits of various rose species, especially the dog rose (Rosa canina). Rosehips are also commonly used to refer to the wild roses or hedge roses themselves on which the fruits grow. The dog rose (Rosa canina) is a plant species within the rose family (Rosaceae). It is by far the most common wild species of the genus in Central Europe and grows 2 to 3 metres high.
In Germanic mythology, the rosehip was consecrated to Freya and, when smoked, gives additional energy for all spells, attracts bright energies and helps in all magical undertakings.
