product description
Growing high in the air between heaven and earth ancient Germans and Celts regarded the evergreen Mistletoe as a sacred plant. It is a symbol of the continuity of life and fertility. The custom of exchanging a kiss under a mistletoe at Christmas and at the turn of the year has its roots in these early fertility beliefs. The Druids, (and of course Miraculix, who doesn't know the world-famous comic series Asterix?!?) cut down mistletoe at the turn of the year with golden sickles in secret places and brewed all kinds of healing and magic potions.
