Ginkgo leaves (Ginkgo folium)
The ginkgo tree is a species of tree native to China, now planted worldwide, and reaches heights of growth of up to 60m. It is the only representative of the Ginkgoales, an otherwise extinct group of seed plants. In East Asia, the tree is cultivated for its edible seeds or as a temple tree. The ginkgo tree also has a long history as a medicinal plant and is said to help with poor concentration and nervousness.
