Damiana (Turnera diffusa)
Damiana (Turnera diffusa) is a species of plant in the saffron mallow genus (Turnera). Its range extends from southern North America to Argentina. This species is mainly known for its attributed effect as an aphrodisiac, but it is also used for colds and as a tonic due to its caffeine content.
When smoked, damiana has an eroticising and mood-lifting effect and was used by the Native Americans against colds, infectious diseases or diseases of the blood vessels.
