The ancestor pot establishes the connection between you and your ancestors. Gifts, e.g. pictures or small objects from the deceased, are placed in the ancestor pot. If you have a wish or need help with a problem, you write the wish or the problem on a piece of paper and put it in the pot and ask the ancestors for help.
